MergeGuard Privacy Policy

MergeGuard is a local-play strategy game. It does not require an account, does not use a custom backend, and does not include analytics or tracking code in the MVP build.

Data Collection

The app stores gameplay progress and settings locally on the device. StoreKit may process purchase transactions through Apple. Optional rewarded-heart ads use Google Mobile Ads. MergeGuard does not sell personal data or operate a custom account/profile service.

Tracking

The app code does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not access IDFA, and does not track users across apps or websites. Production ad configuration must remain non-tracking unless this policy and the App Store privacy answers are updated.

Purchases and Ads

The current build includes StoreKit 2 non-consumable purchase handling for cosmetic, Remove Ads, and heart-cap convenience products. It also includes optional Google Mobile Ads rewarded-heart handling. Rewarded ads are optional and do not gate gameplay access.

Children

The current build is designed as a casual strategy game and does not knowingly collect data from children.
